Tyler Kessler

Tyler began his coaching career in California working in the collegiate sector as an assistant coach, including time at Sacramento State University and Cal State Los Angeles. During that time, he also spent roughly two years working in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings organization, where he gained hands on experience with both Kings players and athletes from their G League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns. After returning to Massachusetts, Tyler continued coaching athletes across a wide range of sports and levels (including youth, high-school, and college).

In addition to his collegiate and professional experience, Tyler has also worked closely with physical therapists in clinical settings. He has collaborated heavily with PT staffs on return-to-sport training programs that help athletes transition safely from rehabilitation back to full athletic activity. This experience has shaped his approach to injury prevention and helping athletes safely return to sport.

Tyler also has extensive experience working with adults of all fitness levels, including newcomers trying strength training for the first time, individuals looking to improve fitness or pursue new performance goals, and older adults (60+) focused on improving movement and balance, maintaining independence, and increasing long-term quality of life through resistance training.

Outside of coaching, Tyler enjoys reading, watching movies, playing basketball, spending as much time as possible outdoors and by the water, and continuing to pursue his own training goals.
